Diego and Orlando, lifelong brothers and Colombian immigrants who bravely ventured to the United States in 1999 in pursuit of new horizons. have found their home in Boston, Massachusetts ever since. Their serendipitous meeting at Bakers Best restaurant in Newton, Massachusetts. Marked the beginning of their shared path in the restaurant industry. Since then. Diego and Orlando have immersed themselves in every aspect of the restaurant industry, from the kitchen like dishwasher to the boardroom.
With over 60 years of combined experience, they have honed their craft through collaboration with renowned chefs, observing and analyzing the work of others, stealthily learning from the successes and mistakes of superiors and colleagues (a fundamental part of our learning process and a relentless pursuit of perfection)
Their journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Throughout the years, at the restaurants where we have worked, we have achieved numerous positive outcomes, such as recognition from the management and awards from various of the best Boston magazines, several Boston newspapers, Open Table, and critics.
We have fostered a culture of excellence and cost-consciousness that fuels our ongoing success in the restaurant industry. United by our passion for excellence, we co-founded EL ZARZAL RESTAURANT
